2025 LCA National Conference
Another successful LCA National Conference!
Thanks to everyone who joined us at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort on the Gold Coast for two days of networking, industry presentations, keynote addresses, insightful panel discussions and updates from NSWRL, QRL and the NRL.
On day one, IGT hosted a cocktail party with some very special guests in attendance. LCA-sponsored assistance dog Lacey brought the Smart Pups team along to showcase the vital work they do to support children with special needs.
Among them was Australian swimming legend Dawn Fraser AC MBE, who is a Patron for Smart Pups.
Dawn addressed the crowd and explained that she has been involved with the charity for many years and has seen first-hand the immediate change an assistance dog can make in a child’s life.
To kick off the formalities on day two, Dallas Orchard from conference partner IGT opened the event before professional mentalist and hypnotist Xavier Crow shared insights into the psychology behind powerful communication.
The audience heard panel discussions on compliance and guiding clubs through regulatory complexities, as well as harm prevention and the future of the registered club industry.
Rounding out day two, was a presentation by global futurist Anders Sorman-Nilsson, who revealed how club leaders can future-fit their brands in the digital age.
This was followed by our conference dinner and awards presentation night.
