Gaming Management Development Course
NSW GMDC 2019/2020
The twenty-first year of the NSW Gaming Management Development Course concluded on Thursday 15th October with LCA Education Sponsor Aristocrat hosting the Zoom presentation.
All students are to be congratulated on their hard work and dedication, but only a select few could receive this years’ bursary prizes.
Winner of the UNLV David Costello Bursary was Tim Han from Parramatta Leagues Club.
Second place achiever and winner of a 3 day study trip to Melbourne was Nathan Drayton from Griffith Ex-Servicemans Club.
Third place went to Lisa Higgs from Hornsby RSL. She also receives a 3 day study trip to Melbourne.
Congratulations to the bursary winners and well done to all participants on graduation from the Class of 2020.
Over 1000 students have completed the course in the over twenty years it has been held.
The twenty-second year of the course will commence in December. Those students fortunate enough to participate in the next course can look forward to learning much about the attributes and skills required to become a successful Gaming Manager, along with the opportunity to network with industry experts and course colleagues.
QLD GMDC 2019
The second year of the QLD Gaming Management Development Course concluded on Tuesday 4th June thanks to the assistance of LCA Education Sponsor Aristocrat.
All students are to be congratulated on their hard work and dedication, but only one could be given the 2019 Bursary prize.
Winner of the trip to AGE was Kym Mac from Arana Leagues Club.
The third year of the course (amended due to covid) will commence in June 2021. Participants on the course are able to learn, take part in and experience knowledge sharing, key industry speakers from NSW and QLD, venue visitation and networking.
