GMDC
Each year, Leagues Clubs Australia and Aristocrat proudly host the Gaming Manager’s Development Course (GMDC) for employees in NSW and QLD who work in the registered club industry.
The GMDC course is designed to broaden the knowledge and expertise of participants across all aspects of the Club industry, with a primary focus on gaming.
Participants hear from industry professionals and guest speakers on topics including responsible gaming, the role of government in gaming, compliance and ethics, risk management, security, analysis and cash flow, marketing and promotions, and more.
In 2025, we celebrated 26 years of GMDC in NSW, proudly offering students leadership development, industry insights, and networking opportunities.
GMDC has been running for 7 years in QLD and grows in popularity every year.
We thank our long-standing partner Aristocrat, facilitators Brian Cook and Mark Hennelly, and all presenters and venues who continue to support this initiative.
Course dates for the 2026 GMDC courses in NSW and QLD will be announced in the new year.
