Leagues Clubs Australia recently delivered another successful Gaming Manager’s Development Course (GMDC) in Queensland, continuing a long-standing commitment to developing future leaders within the registered club industry.
Presented in partnership with Aristocrat, GMDC provides participants with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and expertise across a range of industry disciplines, with a particular focus on gaming operations, leadership, compliance and best practice.
Over two days at Redcliffe Leagues Club, participants engaged with experienced industry professionals and guest speakers covering topics including responsible gaming, compliance and ethics, risk management, security, marketing and promotions, financial analysis, leadership and industry trends.
The course also provided valuable networking opportunities, allowing participants to connect with peers and industry leaders while sharing ideas and experiences from across the club sector.
Leagues Clubs Australia extends its sincere thanks to Aristocrat for its ongoing partnership and support of the program, as well as Redcliffe Leagues Club for hosting the course.
We also acknowledge and thank our facilitators, presenters and guest speakers whose knowledge and experience continue to make GMDC one of the industry’s premier professional development opportunities.
A special thank you is also extended to Treasury Wine Estates, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Asahi Beverages for their support of the networking dinner, which provided participants with a valuable opportunity to build industry connections outside the classroom environment.
The continued success of GMDC reflects the industry’s commitment to investing in its people and ensuring club employees are equipped with the skills, knowledge and leadership capabilities required to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future.
Leagues Clubs Australia congratulates all participants on their successful completion of the 2026 Gaming Manager’s Development Course and looks forward to following their continued development within the club industry.
