  • Playing career curtailed early by a serious knee injury.
  • Took up coaching late 1950s with local junior clubs in ‘A’ Grade and also coached Balmain Jersey Flegg in 1962
  • Ryde-Eastwood District Football Club 1st grade coach in 1963 (inaugural year) and again in 1964
  • Coached several teams with North Ryde Junior Rugby League Football Club from mid 1960s to late 1970s
  • Named North Ryde JRLFC “coach of the half century” at their 2009 Jubilee.
